Generosity Score
As stated before,
this donation network works on the
simple premise of "give a little and get
a whole lot back in return" and
the only way that we can make sure that
this premise is met and followed is by
utilizing a "Generosity Score" (or
G-Score) to measure just how generous
someone really is.
The exact formula is proprietary
knowledge to EasyLazy.com and hence kept
secret; however, we can say that the
more truly generous you are, the higher
your G-Score will be and the higher your
score, the more exposure and donations
your profile will get. Those that have
the highest G-Scores will be prominently
displayed within one of the two "Top 10
Lists" that’s shown at the top of the "Donation Center” page (“Road to
Financial Freedom" section) and
throughout various pages on this
website. All profiles that are displayed
within one of the two "Top 10 Lists"
will get the most attention and
donations and hence those individuals
will reach their money goals in no time
at all.
Your G-Score can make the difference
between you being in debt or being
debt-free. So if the G-Score is that
important (and it is), then you should
know the four factors that determines
your own personal score:
1. The Number of People You Help
This is the single most important factor
that will raise your G-Score – it’s even
more important than the amount of money
you donate. For example, let’s say that
you wanted to give $30.00 so you can
help others payoff their credit card
debt or to help someone with their
financial emergency, such as a pending
foreclosure. So, you now have two
options: (1.) give one person $30.00 or
(2.) you can give 10 people $3.00 each.
Either way, you still donated $30.00,
but if you chose the second option then
your G-Score would be much higher than
it would have been by choosing the first
option.
Now, this is only an example. Remember,
you can give as much or as little as you
want. In fact, we recommend that you
read an individual’s profile and give
what you think would be helpful and
fair.
NOTE: In addition, please be aware that
all donations and their affect on your
G-Score expire after 12 months - so, in
order to make the most of this system,
it's important that you're continually
helpful toward others.
2. Giving to Those Within the "Top
10 Lists"
This is the second most important factor
that will raise and impact your G-Score
the most – of course, the amount of
money you donate is not as important,
but the more people you donate to that
are on these two "Top 10 Lists", then
the higher your G-Score will be. For
example, when you donate, you have
another two options: (1.) give to those
that are displayed within one of the two
"Top 10 Lists", or (2.) give to those
that are not on the "Top 10 Lists".
So, if you were to make an equal amount
of donations with an equal amount of
money to those that were on the "Top 10
Lists" and to those that were not on
this list, then your score would rise
much higher when you donated to those
that are on the "Top 10 Lists" as
opposed to the second option.
In addition, please keep in mind that
the "Top 10 Lists" is dynamic and is
subject to change at a moments notice.
When financial goals are met, then
profile listings are dropped off and new
profiles move up to take the place of
those that are dropped off. So, over a
period of time, you’ll get plenty of
opportunities to donate to those that
are shown on the two "Top 10 Lists".
3. Giving to Other EasyLazy.com
Members.
Now, it’s also important to note that
you can also raise your G-Score by
donating to those that are not displayed
within the two "Top 10 Lists". But, not
all profiles will impact your G-Score in
the same way. And while those profiles
that are on the two "Top 10 Lists" will
impact your G-Score the most, the
profiles that are displayed within the
"Taking on New Adventures" and the
"Making a Difference" sections on the "Donation Center" page will also greatly
impact your G-Score. So, in other words
– here’s the order of impact:
|
▪ |
Top 10 Lists |
|
▪ |
Taking on New
Adventures |
|
▪ |
Making a
Difference |
|
▪ |
Any Other
Profile |
I
bring this point up, because so many
people fall into the trap of only
donating to those that are on the two
“Top 10 Lists” and miss out on the
opportunity to also raise their G-Score
by donating to others. In other words,
if you only donate to those that are on
the two "Top 10 Lists", the system will
detect this and penalize you for it.
Remember, the G-Score is designed to
measure your generosity and the most
important factor is the "number of
people you help" regardless of whether
their on the "Top 10 Lists" or not – so,
please keep this in mind.
4. The Amount of Money You Donate
This is the fourth most important factor
that will affect your G-Score – however,
just because it’s the fourth and last
factor, it doesn’t mean that it’s not
important and that it should be taken
lightly or ignored. For example, let's
say that two individuals with the exact
same G-Score both donated to the same
five people.
However, let's say that the first person
donated $3.00 while the second person
donated $5.00 to the same five
recipients. In this case, the second
person would now have a higher G-Score
then the first person (assuming that
everything else is equal).
So, while the amount of money that you
donate is not as important as the number
of people you help or to what list you
donate to (Top 10 Lists, Taking on New
Adventures, Making a Difference), it’s
still cares some weight.
Bottom line: the more you help others
and the more meaningful your help is,
then the higher your G-Score will be.
And, the higher your G-Score the more
exposure and donations your profile will
receive in return. It’s that simple…
